Informal workshop in February 2024

About a dozen HB members and a couple of visitors joined the informal workshop at Gt Wymondley on February 17th for what turned out to be a busy and sociable day. 

While informal workshops are intended for members to bring their work-in-progress, there is usually also a ‘topic’ to inspire and on Saturday this was ‘coiling’. To this end Jane Ingall had brought a number of hard-shelled gourd bases prepared for basketry to be added along with a range of materials.  This resulted in much varied work, some coiled, some finished, some purely experimental. And some members did actually get on with their own projects as well.

As always there was a great shared lunch, and much exchange of ideas and help.
