EVENTS

Various events, as well as workshops, take place over the year.

Late in the winter, we harvest willow in Hertfordshire and in the summer we cut rush in the river Stour. We also have a stall in the basketry tent at the Herts County Show - a great opportunity to meet other basket makers, display and sell our work and promote and demonstrate basketry to show visitors.

Additonally, we organise online events. During Lockdown restrictions we had two Show & Tell when members shared their home artistic pursuits. We had a talk given by the American professional maker Dorothy McGuiness, from Seattle, who shared her practice with us.
