Plaiting workshop with Geraldine Poore

For this informal one-day workshop Geraldine brought along a fascinating and varied display of plaited items, made from esparto grass, fan palm and rush. We used rush from Iris's supply or strips of hand-coloured paper prepared by Geraldine. Simple or Grecian plaits, twill plaits or round plaits were made. It was great fun, but we all wanted to try more variations.
