Fitching a willow basket with Francois Desplances

The French basket maker Francois Deplanches was due to run a two-day workshop in August 2021 but, because of the Covid pandemic, it was postponed to this summer. Francois taught us how to weave an oval fitched basket with handle made by willow. The basket included some really good learning, including his method of making scalloms and fitching.
